Higgins Quasebarth & Partners served as landmarks consultants to the Whitney Museum of American Art for the approval of the expansion of their Madison Avenue complex.  The Whitney Museum, located within the Upper East Side Historic District, was designed by Marcel Breuer and built in 1966 in the Brutalist style.  HQ served as design consultants for a large-scale addition designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop.  This project was approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in July, 2005.
