Associate Jørgen G. Cleemann holds a B.A. in American Studies from Georgetown University and an M.S. in historic preservation from Columbia University.  His masters thesis on the nineteenth-century brick-making industry in coastal Maine earned a thesis prize for its contributions to the understanding of historical building materials.  In the summer of 2012 Mr. Cleemann presented this research at the annual conference of the Vernacular Architecture Forum in Madison, Wisconsin, and is currently in the process of adapting it for publication in a scholarly journal.  Mr. Cleemann is proficient in a wide range of topics related to the practice of historic preservation, including architectural history, conditions analysis, and conservation science.
