Higgins Quasebarth & Partners served as historic preservation consultants to RFR Development for a special permit application. HQ conducted an Existing Conditions Survey, which required extensive on site investigation, and worked with the Gordon H. Smith Corporation to develop restoration specifications for the bronze facade and other elements of this 1958 Mies van der Rohe masterpiece. In addition, HQ prepared the National Register listing to qualify the building for a facade easement donation.  HQ also consulted on the Landmarks Preservation Commission’s approval of zoning waivers for a new building at 610 Lexington Avenue.
