Randolph Houses

Project Description

HQ was the historic preservation tax credit consultants to Trinity Financial for the rehabilitation of 36 old-law tenements in Harlem for affordable and public housing. The project combined state and federal historic preservation tax credits with capital funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, low-income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bond financing provided by NYC HDC as well as additional subsidy provided by NYC HPD in what serves as a model for the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings for affordable housing.
