90 Mount Auburn Street
Higgins Quasebarth & Partners served as historic preservation consultants to Harvard University for the development of a new building for their division of library services. Working with the architect, Leers Wenizapfel Assocaites, HQ provided design consultation which was based on historical research on the historic Harvard Square neighborhood in which the building would be located. HQ also guided the project through the local review and approval process. 90 Mount Auburn Street was completed in 2007 and was certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Buildings Council. The Mount Auburn Street project received AIA New England Award 2007, the Boston Society of Architects Honor Award for 2008, and the AIA New York Building Type Design Award for Sustainable Design 2008.
