HQ served as landmarks consultants to the Property Markets Group in restoring 43 Wooster Street.  43 Wooster Street is a late nineteenth century building designed by Joseph Dunn which is located within the SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District.  HQ was retained to consult on the restoration of the building after a fire caused extensive damage to the historic structure.  HQ resolved many violations that had accrued over the years, consulted on storefront in-fill design, provided technical preservation consulting in restoring the facade, windows, and cornice, as well as consulting on a rooftop addition and gaining a special permit for a change of use under Section 74-711 for the building.  HQ guided the project through the Landmarks Preservation Commission approval process for numerous permits.  The 43 Wooster Street project was completed in 2005.
